📝 About the Role:

The Sales Manager will join the team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of the sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with media agencies and advertisers across Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional with a proven track record and deep understanding of the Australian AdTech landscape.

💡 Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with media agencies and advertisers across Australia.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at all levels within agencies (executives, planners, directors).
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the client's market share.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals showcasing the value of the solutions and addressing client needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., account management, product, marketing) to ensure client success and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Australian digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, data management platforms (DMPs), and data privacy.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the AdTech space.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue through CRM and reporting tools.
  • Represent the client at industry events and conferences across Australia.
📌 Skills and Qualifications:
 
Essentials:
  • 6 to 8+ years of proven experience in advertising technology sales within the Australian market.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian media landscape, including major agency groups and independent agencies.
  • Established relationships with key agency contacts at all levels (executives, planners, directors).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, data management platforms (DMPs), and data privacy.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of ad serving technologies and data analytics.
  • Understanding of Australian data privacy regulations.
