The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for expanding existing agency business and closing new revenue deals from prospecting agencies and their clients. This role requires strong sales skills, an understanding of clients' long-term business objectives, and a passion for networking at industry events.
⭐ What the role involves:
- Business Growth: Expand data, curation, and platform spending to meet and exceed goals while continuously prospecting for new business opportunities.
- Client Management: Conduct quarterly business reviews, provide ongoing direct client management, and deliver proactive media curation packaging and data sales.
- Revenue Opportunities: Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients and leverage pre-existing agency relationships to drive growth.
- Internal Collaboration: Develop a strong understanding of the business' technology and audience solutions, and maintain close working relationships with multiple internal departments for cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Industry Engagement: Attend industry events and conferences to network, stay current on the latest programmatic trends, and proactively seek knowledge specific to the inner workings of the business' technology.
💡 What they are looking for in an ideal candidate:
- Experience: 2+ years in sales or business development within the online industry, including roles in publishers, ad networks, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, and ad agencies.
- Programmatic Knowledge: Understanding of programmatic buying and selling, including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel with the ability to convey data and analysis to drive business decisions.
- Presentation and Negotiation: Strong presentation skills (including PowerPoint) and proven negotiation abilities.
- Adaptability: Flexible, start-up mindset with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments.
